Home — Full-stack website prototype

An end-to-end website design project completed as part of a Graphic Design certificate program, covering every stage from research through clickable prototype.

Goal

Design a homepage for "Home," a fictional brand, across desktop, mobile, and tablet breakpoints, demonstrating a complete UX and visual design process from brief to final prototype.

Process:

Starting from a self-developed creative brief, the project moved through competitive and comparative research, mood boarding, color palette and typography development, logo design, and low and mid-fidelity wireframes before arriving at a final clickable prototype in Adobe XD. All three breakpoints were fully prototyped.

Skills demonstrated:

End-to-end design process, brand identity development, responsive design across desktop, mobile, and tablet, wireframing at multiple fidelity levels, and clickable prototyping in Adobe XD.

Outcome:

The project was presented for instructor and peer feedback and received positive responses across the board. Reviewers praised the color and typography choices as fitting for the brand, called out the information architecture as excellent, and noted that the overall layout was well considered.
