JetBlue homepage — Clickable prototype exercise
A self-directed exercise to sharpen prototyping skills in Adobe XD through pixel-perfect replication of a live production site.
Goal:
Recreating an existing, well-designed homepage is an effective way to practice interactions without the variable of design decision-making. The JetBlue homepage, captured in January 2021, was selected as a complex, real-world reference with rich interactive elements worth replicating.
What was built:
A pixel-perfect recreation of the full JetBlue homepage in Adobe XD, including hover states, clickable dropdowns, and navigation flows. Each section of the page was replicated to match the live site as closely as possible.
Skills demonstrated:
Precision in visual replication, interaction design in Adobe XD, and prototyping of multi-state UI elements, including hover behaviors and dropdown navigation.
